Fake Collector Warning

A warning has been issued about bogus collectors for Camp Quality Illawarra.

Area coordinator Lorraine Ettingshausen said Camp Quality did not raise funds through telemarketing.

``It is prohibited in our strict rules in our fundraising guidelines," she said.

Mrs Ettingshausen said a person who received a call yesterday was asked for a credit-card donation.

``I would like the public to be aware of this and to report any similar approaches," she said.
